Once upon a time,
about 4.5 billion years ago; a planet called Earth was born. Over the time,
with all her flowing rivers and growing trees, with fresh air; food and care, she
modified herself to support life. And soon she had life sprawling in her waters,
birds flying in her skies, animals hopping on her grounds. They were all living
in peace and harmony until the human beings evolved. The mighty humans poisoned
her air, squandered her resources, dumped wastes in waters and wrecked the
environment not only for themselves and but also for other animals. When
the earth’s tolerance reached its tipping point and she could not bear with
this exploitation anymore, she decided to take revenge. One day she seethed
with anger; the land shivered, the mountains burst and with thunders and storms
a giant sea wave wiped the human race off the face of earth. And that marked
the end of the human civilization and life on the earth.
Before the climax of this fable becomes our reality; it’s
time to realize what we
have done and can do for the earth and its environment. It’s time to popularize and create awareness about the issues pertaining
to the earth and seek solutions for the same. It’s time to sensitize people towards their actions and their impacts on earth and the
environment.
Before it’s too late, it’s time to earth-ize.
